They will distribute 50.5% of ANIME\u2019s supply to community members with no lock-up period.<\/p>\n<p>Animecoin is backed by Arbitrum and the creators of the Azuki NFT collection. The founders aim to build a blockchain ecosystem to support the development of anime culture.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cANIME is a \u2018cultural\u2019 coin that turns 1 billion fans into a community-owned creative network,\u201d<\/em> the document says.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The total supply on Ethereum and Arbitrum will be 10 billion coins. At the TGE, 7.69 billion ANIME will enter circulation.<\/p>\n<p>The breakdown is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>37.5% allocated to the Azuki NFT community;<\/li>\n<li>13% reserved to boost community engagement via funding initiatives selected by AnimeDAO;<\/li>\n<li>7.44% will go to Azuki with a three-year vesting period and a one-year lock-up;<\/li>\n<li>15.62% earmarked for employees, partners and advisers as \u201cearly participants\u201d with similar restrictions;<\/li>\n<li>24.44% allocated to ecosystem development, for example funding grant programmes and supporting various operations of the Animecoin Foundation;<\/li>\n<li>2% reserved for other partner communities, including Hyperliquid, Kaito AI and Arbitrum.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1-1386.webp\" alt=\"1-1386\" class=\"wp-image-249412\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Data: Anime.xyz.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In September 2024, NFT Evening <a href=\"https:\/\/nftevening.com\/are-nfts-dead-2024\/\">concluded<\/a> that 96% of non-fungible-token collections were \u201cdead\u201d.
