Arguably, nothing offers deeper opportunities and risks for our economy, security and society,\u201d \u2014 he began his remarks on AI.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He added that neural networks could put an end to cancer, but that without proper safeguards the technology \u201cthreatens our way of life, privacy, jobs and the security of the nation\u201d.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cIn the age of AI, it is extremely important that people control it. And as the land of freedom, America \u2014 not China \u2014 should lead the development of artificial intelligence,\u201d \u2014 Biden added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He also cited technology companies among the threats.
