It will use its website to provide Uzbekistan residents with access to Binance.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cUsers will be able to deposit and withdraw funds in the national currency using bank cards and national payment systems,\u201d NAPP said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The system will go live once integration of all partner platform modules is complete.<\/p>\n<p>Last year Binance <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/uzbekistan-fines-cryptocurrency-exchange-binance\">paid a fine<\/a> of 300 basic calculation units (<span data-descr=\"~$7900\" class=\"old_tooltip\">102m soums<\/span> as of June 2024) to the state budget for violating local rules on crypto-asset circulation.<\/p>\n<p>In Uzbekistan, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/uzbekistan-enacts-penalties-for-illegal-cryptocurrency-activities\">it is prohibited<\/a> to acquire, sell or exchange cryptocurrencies illegally.<\/p>\n<p>Since May 2024 the country has had an <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/uzbekistan-revises-licensing-procedures-for-bitcoin-exchanges\">updated procedure<\/a> for licensing bitcoin exchanges.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Crypto exchange Binance and Uzbekistan\u2019s NAPP have signed an agreement for the platform to operate in the country via a local partner \u2014 Coinpay.
