{"id":20427,"date":"2025-01-17T18:19:36","date_gmt":"2025-01-17T16:19:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/binance-to-tighten-crypto-deposit-and-withdrawal-procedures-in-poland\/"},"modified":"2025-01-17T18:19:36","modified_gmt":"2025-01-17T16:19:36","slug":"binance-to-tighten-crypto-deposit-and-withdrawal-procedures-in-poland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/binance-to-tighten-crypto-deposit-and-withdrawal-procedures-in-poland\/","title":{"rendered":"Binance to tighten crypto deposit and withdrawal procedures in Poland"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The crypto exchange Binance <a href=\"https:\/\/www.binance.com\/en\/support\/announcement\/updates-on-crypto-transfer-procedures-in-poland-fd135c2acf1d467e9a20364e2321de74\">warned<\/a> users in Poland about changes to cryptocurrency deposit and withdrawal procedures.<\/p>\n<p>According to the notice, from 20 January clients must provide their full name, country, and the name of the exchange (if applicable) for the following operations:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>for deposits over \u20ac1000 \u2014 the sender\u2019s details;<\/li>\n<li>for withdrawals of any amount \u2014 recipient information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Binance said the changes are driven by the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/usdt-market-capitalisation-declines-amid-mica-implementation\">entry into force<\/a> of the EU digital-asset regulation MiCA and apply only to cryptocurrency transfers.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2024, Bybit said it would <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bybit-to-halt-withdrawals-for-french-users\">cease providing all services<\/a> in France due to tighter licensing requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Before that, Coinbase warned of restricting access to stablecoins that are not compliant with MiCA, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/coinbase-to-halt-usdc-rewards-in-eu-due-to-mica-regulations\">suspension of payouts<\/a> under the rewards programme for USDC holders in the EU.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said MiCA <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/tether-ceo-criticises-mica-as-a-threat-to-stablecoins-and-banking\">creates<\/a> \u201csystemic risk\u201d for \u201cstable coins\u201d and the banking system.
