Experts at Luxor attributed the correction largely to colder weather in the United States, where local miners faced rising electricity costs and reduced uptime.  <\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/studio.glassnode.com\/metrics?a=BTC&#038;category=&#038;ema=0&#038;m=mining.HashRateMean&#038;mAvg=7&#038;mMedian=0&#038;s=1659268705&#038;u=1674993505&#038;zoom=182\">Glassnode<\/a>, on February 7, the hash rate (smoothed by a seven-day moving average) peaked at 844.95 EH\/s. According to CryptoQuant specialists, on-chain activity in the Bitcoin network has fallen to a yearly low.<\/p>\n<p>Analysts at Fidelity <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/fidelity-analysts-see-no-long-term-threat-to-bitcoin-mining\">suggested<\/a> that the trend of decreasing fee share in miners&#8217; revenue could become long-term.
