We&#8217;re putting out relatively high odds of approval across the board. Mainly focused on Litecoin, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin for now.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the table with the odds and some other details: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/xaXaNXLb0M\">pic.twitter.com\/xaXaNXLb0M<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 James Seyffart (@JSeyff) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JSeyff\/status\/1889035896428663261?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 10, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has already accepted forms 19b-4 for LTC and DOGE for consideration.<\/p>\n<p>Eric Balchunas and James Seyffart are confident in classifying Litecoin as a &#8220;commodity&#8221; rather than a &#8220;security.&#8221; Dogecoin may receive the same status.<\/p>\n<p>The final deadline for reviewing applications will be in October. The probability of a positive outcome ranges from 65% to 90%.<\/p>\n<p>The analysts did not assess the chances of approval for proposals based on Hedera Hashgraph and Polkadot.<\/p>\n<p>Experts highlighted the following prerequisites:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applications for XRP and Dogecoin will be considered this week.<\/li>\n<li>The SEC&#8217;s digital assets task force, led by Hester Peirce, will &#8220;untangle&#8221; some issues regarding token status in court cases against industry representatives by the end of 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Balchunas and Seyffart are convinced that in the event of <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/donald-trump-becomes-47th-president-of-the-united-states-implications-for-the-crypto-industry\">Donald Trump&#8217;s defeat<\/a> in the U.S. presidential election, progress on crypto-ETFs would be negligible, except for the LTC-ETF.<\/p>\n<p>The specialists explained that the approval of an exchange-traded fund based on XRP will only be possible after resolving the current <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/better-markets-backs-sec-in-ripple-case\">disputes between the SEC and Ripple<\/a>, but this &#8220;will happen in one form or another.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ADA-ETF<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>On February 11, NYSE Arca <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyse.com\/publicdocs\/nyse\/markets\/nyse-arca\/rule-filings\/filings\/2025\/SR-NYSEArca-2025-12.pdf\">filed an application<\/a> using form 19b-4 to convert the Grayscale Cardano Trust into an ETF.<\/p>\n<p>Coinbase Custody Trust Company will act as custodian, and BNY Mellon Asset Servicing as administrator.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Tuttle Capital Management <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/tuttle-capital-seeks-approval-for-memecoin-etfs-including-trump-and-melania\">submitted<\/a> a proposal to the SEC to register ten 2x leveraged crypto-ETFs, including those based on <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-to-know-about-donald-trumps-memecoin-surge-supply-and-industry-impact\">TRUMP<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/melanias-meme-coin-leaves-traders-pining-for-gary-gensler\">MELANIA<\/a>. Other products are based on Bonk, BNP, and Chainlink.<\/p>\n<p>In January, <span data-descr=\"Chicago Board Options Exchange\" class=\"old_tooltip\">CBOE<\/span> on behalf of ARK Invest and 21Shares <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/cboe-proposes-rule-change-for-ark-21shares-btc-etf-and-eth-etf\">filed an application<\/a> to amend the structure of the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF and 21Shares Core Ethereum ETF to allow for in-kind asset redemption.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Nasdaq <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/nasdaq-proposes-rule-change-for-blackrocks-bitcoin-etf\">submitted<\/a> a similar proposal regarding rule adjustments for BTC-ETF.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following an analysis of applications for launching spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), Bloomberg analysts noted a high probability of positive decisions &#8220;across the board.&#8221; Priority is given to products based on Litecoin, Dogecoin, Solana, and XRP.
