With the change in leadership<\/a> at the SEC<\/span>, a significant number of cryptocurrency companies will list their shares on the New York Stock Exchange or Nasdaq. This was stated by Galaxy Digital founder and CEO Mike Novogratz, according to Blockworks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The entrepreneur estimates this will occur in May or June 2025. Galaxy Digital itself also plans to go public.<\/p>\n

Novogratz recounted attending a ball hosted by U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance<\/a>, which was attended by Peter Thiel, Mark Zuckerberg, and about 20 CEOs of various crypto companies. He expressed optimism about the industry’s prospects under the new presidential administration. <\/p>\n

“I think [bitcoin] will be on the government’s balance sheet in six months,” said Novogratz, adding that the first cryptocurrency “has paved its way” as a store of value. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The businessman expects that the U.S. government’s purchase of the coin will attract additional investments from the largest sovereign wealth funds. <\/p>\n

The CEO of Galaxy Digital did not rule out a potential drop in bitcoin’s price but does not see it as a problem.<\/p>\n

“This does not devalue the space at all. Frankly, it’s a buying opportunity,” concluded Novogratz.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The discussion also included Pantera Capital founder Dan Morehead, who refuted the existence of a bubble in the crypto market. <\/p>\n

“How can there be a bubble that nobody owns? The median share of institutional investors in [blockchain technology] is zero,” he stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Following discussions with several institutions, Morehead expects that by 2025, a portion of the $500 trillion in global assets will shift into cryptocurrencies.<\/p>\n

In early February, media reported on Gemini’s plans to conduct an IPO<\/span> in 2025. A final decision has not been made, and the company continues negotiations.<\/p>\n

A similar possibility is being explored by the leadership of Bullish Global, a platform associated with entrepreneur Peter Thiel.<\/p>\n
