Please do not engage. We are resolving the issue ASAP.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 WLFI (@worldlibertyfi) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/worldlibertyfi\/status\/1889788282940113265?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 12, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The hackers used the entrepreneur\u2019s page to promote a fake meme coin, purportedly linked to the youngest son of the US president, Barron Trump. The WLFI team warned users:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cPlease do not engage. We will resolve the issue as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Commentators noted that the company responded to the hack within seven minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Witkoff confirmed the compromise of his X account after regaining access. He thanked James Musk, brother of the social media owner Elon Musk, as well as MoonPay CEO Ivan Soto-Wright and the payment service&#8217;s president Keith Grossman for their assistance.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Account was hacked thanks to the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/X?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@X<\/a> and James Musk for hopping on this quickly. The NYT calculated that within 19 days, the accumulated losses for investors in the coin reached $2 billion.
