He was sentenced for money laundering and other illegal activities related to Binance.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to this, the exchange <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-permanently-removes-changpeng-zhao-from-management\">permanently barred<\/a> Zhao from management.
