The demand for advanced AI chips will be a focal point in Nvidia’s report on February 26, as investors question the corporation’s significant spending on its products following the emergence of an affordable alternative from DeepSeek, according to Reuters<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The debut of the R1 model by the Chinese competitor caused a record $593 billion drop in the market capitalization of the world’s second most valuable company<\/a> due to skepticism about maintaining the advantages of its chips in the AI race.<\/p>\n

“If Nvidia can demonstrate that it can ‘beat [market forecasts] and raise [guidance],’ it will be positive for the stock,” said Spear Invest CIO Ivana Delevska.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Analysts expect the company’s revenue to have increased by 72% year-on-year to $38.05 billion in October-December, marking the slowest pace in the last seven quarters. For comparison, in the previous five reporting periods, the growth of the metric was in triple digits<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The market anticipates a 60% year-on-year increase in the January-March period.<\/p>\n

“Investment plans by Meta, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon in [artificial intelligence chips] paint a positive picture of demand for Nvidia,” noted Gabelli Funds portfolio manager John Belton.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The agency noted that with the Blackwell series, the company began transitioning from selling individual chips to full-fledged AI computing systems<\/span>, complicating production scaling.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Initially, implementation was also hindered by design miscalculations and an increase in defect rates, although Nvidia has rectified these issues.<\/p>\n

Reuters recalled the corporation’s management statement about expectations of Blackwell’s revenue exceeding initial forecasts.<\/p>\n

In 2025, Nvidia will launch<\/a> a new generation of compact Jetson Thor computers for humanoids, according to the Financial Times.<\/p>\n
