According to the exchange, this result reflects its dynamic development; it has become the fastest-growing among the top ten trading venues.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/blog\/articles\/bitget-2024-year-in-review\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the<\/a> 2024 Bitget transparency report, the platform rose to second place among <span data-descr=\"centralised exchange\" class=\"old_tooltip\">CEX<\/span> ecosystems by <span data-descr=\"over 100m\" class=\"old_tooltip\">number of users<\/span>. In this article, we, together with the exchange\u2019s team, examine Bitget\u2019s competitive advantages and main products.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who founded Bitget, and when<\/h2>\n<p>The exchange was founded in 2018 by Sandra Lou. In May 2024 Gracy Chen <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitget-appoints-new-ceo-and-hires-former-commex-executive\">became<\/a> the trading platform\u2019s CEO, known in the Web3 industry for initiatives promoting diversity and inclusion. In 2024 she <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitgets-gracy-chen-to-address-un-commission-on-the-status-of-women\">addressed<\/a> the UN Commission on the Status of Women, launched the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitget-introduces-blockchain4her-ambassador-program\">Blockchain4Her<\/a> ambassador programme and the Blockchain4Youth education project.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond Chen, the company\u2019s key figures include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Vugar Usi Zade \u2014 chief operating officer. He previously served as <span data-descr=\"chief marketing officer\" class=\"old_tooltip\">CMO<\/span> at Beincrypto and Sony, and also held senior roles at Facebook, Danone and Carlsberg;<\/li>\n<li>Hon Ng \u2014 head of legal, included in a <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/ec297576-b55e-457b-80c8-d245b4d4bc08\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">list<\/a> of the industry\u2019s 20 top executives by the Financial Times;<\/li>\n<li>Min Lin \u2014 chief business officer. He plays a key role in building relationships with partners and regulators, and leads initiatives to expand Bitget\u2019s presence in key markets. Before entering the crypto industry, Min spent more than five years as an executive director at Goldman Sachs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cIn 2018, having studied Bitcoin\u2019s white paper and the Ethereum ecosystem, we saw the future in cryptocurrencies. The market collapse weeded out speculators \u2014 fewer than 10% of participants remained and managed to adapt. That same year we founded the company. Forged in a bear market, Bitget bet on users, innovation and long-term development,\u201d the exchange\u2019s <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/aboutus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a> says.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Bitget is registered in the Seychelles. The company operates as a virtual asset service provider (VASP) in Poland, Lithuania and Bulgaria, and in El Salvador as a bitcoin-services provider.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Bitget ecosystem<\/h2>\n<p>The <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/ru\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitget<\/a> ecosystem includes:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a namesake centralised exchange;<\/li>\n<li>the Bitget Wallet Web3 wallet;<\/li>\n<li>the native Bitget Token (BGB).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Previously, the wallet used a separate asset \u2014 Bitget Wallet Token (BWB). However, in late 2024 developers <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/web3.bitget.com\/en\/blog\/articles\/bwb-and-bgb-token-merge-upgrade\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> its merger with BGB.<\/p>\n<p>Below we examine each product in more detail.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bitget CEX<\/h2>\n<p>Access to deposits, the P2P platform, and spot and futures markets requires mandatory <span data-descr=\"know your customer\" class=\"old_tooltip\">KYC<\/span>. Registration is available on the <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/ru\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a> and in the mobile app (<a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/ru\/download\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Android and iOS<\/a>). Clients must provide a passport or driver\u2019s licence and confirm its authenticity. The entire process takes no more than an hour.<\/p>\n<p>After verification, the exchange recommends strengthening account security. Users can set up one or several two-factor authentication methods (Passkey, Google Authenticator, email, phone number). Additional protections are also available: a withdrawal whitelist and an anti-phishing code.<\/p>\n<p>After setting up an account, users can top up their balance. Bitget offers several options:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>P2P trading<\/strong> \u2014 buying bitcoin, Ethereum (ETH), USDT or USDC from other users with payment by bank card or other available methods; <\/li>\n<li><strong>credit\/debit card<\/strong> \u2014 fast purchase via Visa\/Mastercard;<\/li>\n<li><strong>bank transfer<\/strong> \u2014 euro funding via SEPA;<\/li>\n<li><strong>crypto deposit<\/strong> \u2014 transfer cryptoassets from another exchange or wallet via the \u201cAssets\u201d section (\u201cDeposit\u201d button).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Users can then trade on spot and futures markets, and use Bitget Earn products or copy-trading services. The product list includes:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/ru\/earning\/savings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">savings<\/a> \u2014 fixed- or flexible-term deposits with daily interest accrual;<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/ru\/earning\/on-chain-elite\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on-chain elite<\/a> \u2014 Bitget\u2019s restaking service. At the time of publication the exchange offers swapping Solana (SOL) and bitcoin (BTC) for LRT BGSOL and BGBTC;<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/ru\/earning\/staking\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on-chain earn<\/a> \u2014 staking PoS cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum and Solana;<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/ru\/earning\/loan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">crypto loans<\/a> \u2014 loans of stablecoins and cryptocurrencies secured by other assets;<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/ru\/earning\/wealth-management\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wealth management<\/a> \u2014 users with capital from 50,000 USDT\/0.5 BTC can entrust funds to the Bitget team for \u201cstable\u201d or \u201cenhanced\u201d yields.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The exchange also offers <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/ru\/earning\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">structured products<\/a>: dual-currency investments, Shark Fin and Smart Trend. They have a lock-up period of one to seven days and an <span data-descr=\"annual percentage rate\" class=\"old_tooltip\">APR<\/span> of up to 20% per year.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020 Bitget was the first on the market to add copy-trading \u2014 a strategy in which users (copy traders) replicate the trades of leading traders (lead traders). Since then, the exchange has remained one of the leading platforms in this segment. Users can subscribe to lead traders on spot and futures markets or copy a <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/ru\/copy-trading\/strategy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trading-bot<\/a> strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Bitget regularly offers new clients bonuses and rewards for taking part in various activities. The promotion runs until 24 March 2025.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bitget Wallet<\/h2>\n<p><a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/web3.bitget.com\/ru\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitget Wallet<\/a> (formerly BitKeep) is a non-custodial Web3 wallet supporting more than 100 blockchains and L2 solutions. The app is available for iOS and Android, as well as a Chrome extension.<\/p>\n<p>Wallet users can swap assets via the built-in DEX aggregator Bitget Swap. It runs on the BitKeep Swap protocol for order-splitting in EVM networks.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cBitKeep Swap integrates 1inch, dodo, uniswap, 0x and other order-splitting protocols, facilitating users\u2019 access to liquidity of hundreds of DEXs. At the same time, it provides users with the best swap price and saves fees,\u201d the project\u2019s <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/bitgetwallet\/bkswapv2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Github<\/a> says.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Wallet users can place market and limit orders, trade meme tokens on the MemeX platform, and trade futures with leverage of up to 125x.<\/p>\n<p>For additional protection of funds, the Bitget Wallet team has created a Protection Fund \u2014 a $300m insurance pool. According to information on the <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/web3.bitget.com\/en\/about\/safety-commitment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>, it is intended to compensate potential user losses due to mistakes when using the wallet.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bitget Token<\/h2>\n<p>The BGB exchange token was launched on Ethereum in July 2021 with a total supply of 2bn units.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2024 the platform presented an updated <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/cdnstatic\/files\/BGB-whitepaper-en.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">white paper<\/a>, announcing the burn of 40% of supply (800m BGB) and the launch of a quarterly buyback mechanism. Twenty percent of revenues from the exchange (spot, futures and margin trading) and the wallet (swaps, futures and NFT trading) will be directed to this initiative.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cOn 26 July 2021, BGB was launched at an initial price of 0.0585 USDT. A little over three years later, its value exceeded 7.9 USDT, showing growth of more than 100 times. BGB holders receive several benefits:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>token farming<\/strong> \u2014 staking BGB in Bitget Launchpool and PoolX to receive new coins and airdrops via Fair Launchpool in Bitget Wallet; <\/li>\n<li><strong>access to token launches<\/strong> \u2014 the ability to subscribe to early-stage projects via Bitget Launchpad and invest in Web3 via Bitget LaunchX; <\/li>\n<li><strong>fee discounts<\/strong> \u2014 a 20% discount when paying spot trading fees with BGB.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n<p>Since its launch in 2018, <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/ru\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitget<\/a> has become one of the most recognisable companies in the crypto industry.
