An additional ~332 BTC (~$26.13 million) was sent to the platform’s cold wallet \u2014 “1Jbez”. Both amounts remain untouched.<\/p>\n

Mt. Gox transferred<\/a> another 332.059 BTC ($26.67 million) to an unknown address “1HUa2\u2026FguZQ”.<\/p>\n

The platform also sent small amounts of bitcoin to the Bitstamp exchange and another anonymous wallet “1K8E7\u2026dJMYg”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Addresses associated with Mt. Gox hold a total of 35,915 BTC valued at $2.89 billion.<\/p>\n

At the time of writing, digital gold is trading at $80,304, with a daily price drop of 2.2%, according to CoinGecko<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In May 2024, the exchange began moving bitcoins<\/a> for the first time in five years. At that time, transaction amounts exceeded $9 billion.<\/p>\n

In January 2025, Mt. Gox transferred<\/a> 166.5 BTC ($15.05 million) to “1Jbez”, and on March 6 \u2014 11,834 BTC ($1.1 billion) to an unknown wallet.<\/p>\n
