During this month, the platform expanded its services in the EU in accordance with MiCA, secured the eighth spot in Forbes&#8217; &#8220;Top 25 Most Trustworthy Crypto Exchanges&#8221; ranking, and supported Bybit following a hacking incident.<\/p>\n<p>On February 14, Bitget obtained a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license in Bulgaria. This enabled the platform to expand its services in line with the EC regulatory framework (MiCA).<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Bitget ranked eighth in Forbes&#8217; <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/javierpaz\/2025\/01\/28\/the-worlds-most-trustworthy-crypto-exchanges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Top 25 Most Trustworthy Crypto Exchanges&#8221;<\/a> list.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;This success is the result of our efforts to create a sustainable and trustworthy platform. The results of 2024 were impressive: we paid record bonuses to employees amounting to $70 million, highlighting the company&#8217;s growth and the value of our team&#8217;s contribution,&#8221; the report notes.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Among other achievements in February:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Support for Bybit. <\/strong>Bitget supported the exchange after a hacking attack, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bybit-repays-bitget-loan-of-40000-eth-2\">providing<\/a> 40,000 ETH as a loan to ensure fund withdrawals;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Growth of the ecosystem. <\/strong>The number of users exceeded 100 million, and the average daily trading volume reached $20 billion. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/cryptorank-binance-and-bitget-lead-in-spot-market-liquidity-depth\">research<\/a> by CryptoRank, Binance and Bitget lead in liquidity depth in spot markets;<\/li>\n<li><strong>New integrations. <\/strong>The Bitget Wallet team launched staking for USDT and BGB, and added support for the L2 solution Abstract;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Financial security. <\/strong>Bitget&#8217;s insurance fund reserve exceeded $600 million.
