We are excited to continue scaling our efforts on the world&#8217;s largest cluster, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/xai-launches-worlds-largest-ai-training-system\">Colossus<\/a>, within xAI,\u201d he stated.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Elon Musk <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1901782742830084491\">noted<\/a> that a \u201ccool video AI\u201d will soon emerge. The acquisition of Hotshot suggests xAI aims to develop its own video generation models to compete with Sora, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/google-deepmind-unveils-advanced-ai-video-and-image-generators\">Veo 2<\/a> by Google, and other solutions. In January, Musk <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/techdevnotes\/status\/1876711619704545612\">stated<\/a> that he expects the Grok Video model to appear \u201cin a few months.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Based in San Francisco, Hotshot was founded several years ago. Initially, the startup focused on developing AI tools for creating and editing photos but eventually shifted to AI models for text-to-video conversion.<\/p>\n<p>In February, xAI <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/elon-musks-xai-unveils-smartest-grok-3-ai-model\">introduced<\/a> the third version of Grok.
