In 2024, the company earned a profit of $547 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in March, the entrepreneur <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/telegrams-pavel-durov-permitted-to-leave-france-temporarily\">left<\/a> France and went to Dubai &#8220;for a few weeks&#8221; with court permission.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On August 24, 2024, the businessman was <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/telegrams-pavel-durov-detained-in-france\">detained<\/a> at Le Bourget airport. He was accused of, among other things, complicity in the distribution of drugs and child pornography, as well as refusing to provide information at the request of authorized bodies.<\/p>\n<p>Five days later, Durov was <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/pavel-durov-placed-under-judicial-supervision-with-e5-million-bail\">released<\/a> on bail of \u20ac5 million with the obligation to report to the police station twice a week and not leave the country.<\/p>\n<p>On December 6, 2024, the Telegram founder was <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/pavel-durov-interrogated-in-paris-for-the-first-time\">interrogated<\/a> for the first time regarding the case.
