{"id":22351,"date":"2025-03-24T15:32:38","date_gmt":"2025-03-24T13:32:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/sberbank-to-launch-pilot-project-with-digital-financial-assets-in-2025\/"},"modified":"2025-03-24T15:32:38","modified_gmt":"2025-03-24T13:32:38","slug":"sberbank-to-launch-pilot-project-with-digital-financial-assets-in-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/sberbank-to-launch-pilot-project-with-digital-financial-assets-in-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Sberbank to Launch Pilot Project with Digital Financial Assets in 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Russia&#8217;s Sberbank plans to test mechanisms for the secondary market of digital financial assets (DFA) on its platform in the second quarter of 2025, according to a report by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.interfax.ru\/business\/1016184\">Interfax<\/a> citing a statement from the bank.<\/p>\n<p>The pilot project will be trialed on the DFA of the infrastructure holding company &#8220;Natsproektstroy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to Sergey Popov, Director of the &#8220;Transactional Business&#8221; division, investors on Sberbank&#8217;s platform will be able to buy and sell assets, facilitating entry and exit from investments, as well as improving market liquidity and transparency.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Natsproektstroy&#8221; holding will offer two DFA issues totaling 2 billion rubles. The assets will allow investors to take advantage of early buyback options before the end of the circulation period.<\/p>\n<p>For non-qualified investors, the issue will be available with an annual yield of 24.25% (term \u2014 12 months). For qualified investors, it will be offered at the Bank of Russia&#8217;s key rate plus 2.025% (term \u2014 24 months). The minimum entry threshold is 1,000 rubles.<\/p>\n<p>The sale of assets will conclude on March 31, 2025.
