Musk was appointed as a special government employee with a work limit of 130 days. His term is expected to end in May.<\/p>\n<p>The businessman is confident that DOGE can save $1 trillion by reducing the current total federal government spending from $7 trillion to $6 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the Department&#8217;s team is cutting government spending &#8220;by $4 billion a day, every day, seven days a week.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So far, DOGE has already saved taxpayers $115 billion by reducing staff numbers, selling assets, and canceling contracts. Musk emphasized that his team&#8217;s actions will not affect critical government services.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;America will become solvent.
