This was <a href=\"https:\/\/rutube.ru\/video\/1cd576b1f7434a400a5b9eb0d8f8f84d\/\">announced<\/a> by the head of the department, Dmitry Aristov.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He emphasized that the methodology for seizing cryptocurrencies is being developed based on a real criminal case, and digital gold is considered a &#8220;problematic asset.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;We are currently working with the relevant authorized bodies to develop a methodology for implementing this type of financial instrument,&#8221; explained the head of the FSSP.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In July 2023, the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow confiscated 1032.1 BTC from former investigator Marat Tambiev for state revenue. In October 2024, he was sentenced to 16 years in a penal colony for accepting a bribe of more than 2718 BTC (7.3 billion rubles) and $1.5 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Aristov stated that the issue of how to confiscate cryptocurrency has not yet been resolved. According to him, the primary task is to create a legislative framework that would regulate the handling of &#8220;relevant&#8221; bitcoins in Russia.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, on March 7, Deputy Anton Gorelkin <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/russian-cryptocurrency-reserve-not-yet-on-the-agenda-says-deputy-gorelkin\">announced<\/a> that the formation of a <span data-descr=\"strategic cryptocurrency reserve\" class=\"old_tooltip\">SBR<\/span> in Russia &#8220;is not yet being discussed&#8221; at the state level.
