On May 9, Mike Novogratz’s Galaxy Digital will hold<\/a> a special shareholder meeting to approve its reorganization and listing on Nasdaq under the ticker GLXY.<\/p>\n

The SEC<\/span> has approved the firm’s application to move its domicile from the Cayman Islands to Delaware.<\/p>\n

Currently, Galaxy Digital’s shares are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange in Canada.<\/p>\n

In March, the company agreed<\/a> to pay $200 million to settle claims with the New York Attorney General’s office.<\/p>\n

Back in March 20, 2025, Galaxy Digital approved<\/a> a $200 million revolving credit line for MoonPay to address emergency liquidity requests.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The deal was struck due to challenges faced during the launch of U.S. President Donald Trump’s meme coin. At that time, the companies had to urgently raise $160 million amid exceptionally high demand coinciding with traditional banks’ weekend closures.
