This was announced in the <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.paypal-corp.com\/2025-04-23-Buy-Hold-Earn-Rewards-PayPal-Unlocks-Rewards-for-Holding-PayPal-USD\">company&#8217;s blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>American users will be offered an annual rate of 3.7% on PYUSD deposits in PayPal or Venmo. Interest in stablecoins is planned to be accrued daily and paid out monthly.<\/p>\n<p>According to the project&#8217;s announcement, PYUSD can be used for payments within the services, including international transfers.<\/p>\n<p>The program will launch in the summer of 2025. Users will be able to join or opt out at any time.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing, the market capitalization of PYUSD <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/categories\/stablecoins\">stands<\/a> at approximately $867 million.<\/p>\n<p>In April, PayPal <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/paypal-expands-cryptocurrency-offerings-with-solana-and-chainlink\">added<\/a> support for Solana and Chainlink for clients in the U.S. and related regions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Payment service PayPal is set to launch a rewards program for holders of the PYUSD stablecoin in the United States to boost its popularity.
