Such a purchase could have &#8220;killed&#8221; the startup, Armstrong emphasized. According to him, the team made a conscious decision to avoid risks.<\/p>\n<p>Coinbase&#8217;s Chief Financial Officer, Alesia Haas, added that the company also &#8220;did not want to compete with its own clients.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/d18rn0p25nwr6d.cloudfront.net\/CIK-0001679788\/0b389531-4a7d-4417-b364-79aae6dfbd85.html#\">report<\/a>, by the end of the first quarter of 2025, the company held $1.3 billion in crypto assets as investments. Haas stated that Coinbase will continue to increase its holdings. <\/p>\n<p>Experts at Bernstein believe that Strategy&#8217;s Bitcoin approach <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bernstein-forecasts-corporate-bitcoin-holdings-to-reach-330-billion\">is not applicable<\/a> to every project.
