Users will now be able to manage assets directly and participate in ecosystem voting.<\/p>\n<p>This integration is the result of a partnership between Brave and Input Output (IO), the company behind Cardano&#8217;s development.<\/p>\n<p>Brave&#8217;s CEO, Brendan Eich, stated that blockchain support will enhance security and simplify interactions with decentralized services.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;The integration expands multichain access without compromising user choice,&#8221; he added.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Robert Ruz, founder of the Mynth protocol, told <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/brave-browser-adds-cardano-support\">Cointelegraph<\/a> that the move is significant for the growth of the Cardano ecosystem:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;The infrastructure is ready \u2014 <span data-descr=\"decentralized applications\" class=\"old_tooltip\">dapps<\/span> are now accessible through the Brave browser.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He also highlighted the role of the Midnight sidechain, which adds private smart contracts. The tool was <a href=\"https:\/\/midnight.network\/blog\/introducing-the-midnight-testnet\">developed<\/a> by IO&#8217;s subsidiary, Shielded Technologies, and allows transaction metadata to be concealed.<\/p>\n<p>Brave already supports Ethereum and Solana. The release emphasized that integration with Cardano will lay the groundwork for working with Midnight and participating in network governance.
