Announcing the Trillion Dollar Security (1TS) initiative: an ecosystem-wide effort to upgrade Ethereum\u2019s security to help bring the world onchain.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ethereum Foundation (@ethereumfndn) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ethereumfndn\/status\/1922632702097801229?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 14, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;trillion dollar security&#8221; initiative aims to achieve the following conditions:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>billions of people will be able to securely store over $1000 onchain under Ethereum&#8217;s protection;<\/li>\n<li>for companies, institutions, and governments, this amount will reach $1 trillion within a single application or smart contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The implementation of Trillion Dollar Security involves three main components:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>mapping the network&#8217;s strengths and attack vectors across all technological layers to focus on specific areas;<\/li>\n<li>making improvements in priority areas identified during the assessment process;<\/li>\n<li>more effective communication on Ethereum security issues involving a broad range of specialists and users.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fredrik Svantes and Josh Stark will lead the project as co-chairs from the Ethereum Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the three managers of Trillion Dollar Security will be:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the founder of Security Alliance known as samczsun;<\/li>\n<li>founder and director of Sigma Prime Mehdi Zerouali;<\/li>\n<li>co-founder of Etherealize Zak Obront.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Back in March, the Ethereum Foundation made significant <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/leadership-changes-announced-at-ethereum-foundation\">changes in its leadership<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Following the management reshuffle, the organization <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ethereum-foundation-shifts-focus-to-l1-scaling-and-user-experience-enhancement\">shifted its focus<\/a> to user experience and L1 scaling issues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ethereum Foundation has introduced the Trillion Dollar Security project, described as an &#8220;ecosystem-wide effort to enhance Ethereum&#8217;s security to transition the world onto the blockchain.&#8221; 0.
