Full customer coverage is expected by January, pending regulatory approvals.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement was made at a bitcoin conference in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative builds on the existing Square Bitcoin Conversions feature, which allows merchants to automatically convert revenue into the leading cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<p>For consumers, payments will be made by scanning a QR code.
