The trading volume amounted to $47 million, and the market capitalization exceeded $16.7 billion.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the <span data-descr=\"initial public offering\" class=\"old_tooltip\">IPO<\/span>, the company raised $1.1 billion\u2014nearly double the initial target. According to media reports, the issuer of USDC was <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/media-usdc-stablecoin-issuer-valued-at-6-9bn-after-ipo\">valued<\/a> at $6.9 billion following the ordinary share offering.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.gov\/Archives\/edgar\/data\/1876042\/000119312525126208\/d737521ds1a.htm#rom737521_14\">S-1\/A<\/a> form filed with the <span data-descr=\"U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission\" class=\"old_tooltip\">SEC<\/span>, the company&#8217;s largest external shareholders are General Catalyst (8.9% of shares pre-offering) and IDG Capital (8.8%). Other major venture investors include Accel, Breyer Capital, and Oak Investment Partners.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following Circle&#8217;s market debut, Cathie Wood&#8217;s Ark Invest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/post\/357271\/ark-invest-buys-373-million-usd-circle-shares-on-debut-offloads-coinbase-robinhood-block-own-bitcoin-etf\">acquired<\/a> 4.48 million CRLC shares worth $373.4 million for three of its funds.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to current data, CRCL ranks 10th by volume in the ARKK fund (4.4%\/$251.8 million), eighth in ARKW (4.4%\/$77.2 million), and seventh in ARKF (4.3%\/$44.5 million). The main assets of these funds, Tesla, Bitcoin ETF Ark Invest, and Shopify, hold shares of 10.3%, 8.2%, and 9%, respectively.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The successful market entry occurred three years after the company&#8217;s previous attempt.
