He described the technology as &#8220;the biggest update in payments since the advent of the SWIFT network.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the cloud service has already processed two test transactions from clients in PYUSD from PayPal.<\/p>\n<p>Airbnb stated that they do not plan to integrate crypto payments in the near future but are exploring all possible aspects of improving community interaction, including &#8220;developments in digital assets.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to Fortune&#8217;s sources, the short-term rental aggregator has been in talks about using stablecoins with Worldpay. The company hopes that the technology will reduce processing costs for Visa and Mastercard transactions.<\/p>\n<p>Elon Musk&#8217;s social media platform X is considering integrating stablecoins into its payment service X Money, with Stripe mentioned as a potential partner.<\/p>\n<p>According to the publication, Apple representatives have at least communicated with Circle&#8217;s senior director Matt Kevin. Participants include JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, and others.<\/p>\n<p>Fortune&#8217;s sources noted that one of the challenges for tech giants is choosing a coin for integration. Tether faces regulatory compliance issues in the United States. The company&#8217;s head, Paolo Ardoino, recently <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/tether-prioritizes-markets-outside-the-us\">confirmed<\/a> that the issuer is primarily focusing on developing markets.<\/p>\n<p>Circle <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/media-usdc-stablecoin-issuer-valued-at-6-9bn-after-ipo\">went public<\/a> on June 5, and there are <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ripples-bid-for-circle-deemed-insufficient-say-sources\">questions<\/a> regarding the future owner of the firm.<\/p>\n<p>Other coins in the segment, such as PYUSD, significantly lag behind the leaders in market adoption.<\/p>\n<p>In March, FT journalists concluded that a &#8220;stablecoin race&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/global-banks-and-fintech-firms-enter-the-stablecoin-race\">had begun<\/a> among the largest global banks and fintech companies.<\/p>\n<p>Some institutions intend to launch their own tokens in a bid to capture a share of the growing segment. Among them could be the American investment giant <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/fidelitys-stablecoin-ambitions-revealed-by-ft\">Fidelity Investments<\/a>, the Dutch bank <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ing-banks-mica-compliant-stablecoin-initiative-unveiled\">ING<\/a>, and the Japanese corporation Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group under the management of <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/japans-second-largest-bank-smbc-to-launch-stablecoin\">SMBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Visa <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/visa-joins-usdg-stablecoin-consortium\">joined<\/a> the USDG &#8220;stablecoin&#8221; consortium, created in 2024. Its competitor Mastercard <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/paxos-robinhood-and-kraken-collaborate-to-promote-usdg-stablecoin\">partnered<\/a> with Circle, Paxos, and Nuvei to integrate payments in fiat-pegged coins.<\/p>\n<p>In the tech segment, Meta <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/meta-explores-stablecoin-integration\">revisited<\/a> the idea of implementing the technology. Three years ago, Facebook and WhatsApp&#8217;s parent company abandoned the Diem (formerly Libra) project due to regulatory pressure.<\/p>\n<p>According to Standard Chartered&#8217;s estimate, stablecoin capitalization will <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/standard-chartered-predicts-stablecoin-market-cap-to-reach-2-trillion-by-2028\">reach $2 trillion<\/a> by 2028.
