This indicates a decline in interest in the project, CoinGecko noted.<\/p>\n<p>Analysts also highlighted three signs of deception:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span data-descr=\"honeypot\" class=\"old_tooltip\">honeypot<\/span> \u2014 tokens that cannot be sold after purchase;<\/li>\n<li>hidden fees on buying and selling that &#8220;eat into&#8221; profits;<\/li>\n<li>developers with a history of fraudulent schemes such as rug pulls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>CoinGecko described the liquidity pool as a &#8220;key indicator.&#8221; Locked value reduces the risk of creators suddenly withdrawing funds.<\/p>\n<p>The age of the token is also important, experts emphasized. The newer the project, the higher the likelihood of fraud.
