The regulator applies this measure to companies operating without a license and targeting Turkish users. Previously, the agency had already <a href=\"https:\/\/www.turkiyetoday.com\/business\/turkiye-restricts-access-to-over-50-cryptocurrency-markets-93112\/\">blocked<\/a> centralized exchanges.<\/p>\n<p>The decision regarding PancakeSwap has set a precedent. Market participants fear that platforms like Uniswap and Raydium might be next to face restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities have warned investors about the risks of using unlicensed exchanges. They recommended working only with CMB-approved platforms to protect capital and personal data.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Regulation in Turkey<\/h2>\n<p>In May 2024, the country&#8217;s authorities <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/turkey-to-introduce-cryptocurrency-regulations-by-2024\">announced<\/a> a tightening of legislation in the field of digital assets.
