The company has already issued tokens based on securities from OpenAI, Robinhood Markets, Trump Media &#038; Technology Group, Schwab U.S. Dividend Equity ETF, and YieldMax MSTR Option Income Strategy.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/js\/telegram-widget.js?22\" data-telegram-post=\"forklog\/44591\" data-width=\"100%\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;The mechanism varies slightly depending on the asset, whether it&#8217;s public stocks or a private company. But the goal is for tokens to be backed by the underlying asset in almost all cases,&#8221; Tenev explained the token mechanism.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The platform&#8217;s launch was made possible by the European Union&#8217;s &#8220;clear rules&#8221; for crypto-asset derivatives, he added. The Robinhood CEO assured that the products &#8220;will withstand the highest form of scrutiny&#8221; and are &#8220;constantly discussed&#8221; with regulators.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the broker&#8217;s tokenized stocks are available only in the EU. However, Tenev noted that the US should not &#8220;fall too far behind,&#8221; as the <span data-descr=\"U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission\" class=\"old_tooltip\">SEC<\/span> has already begun discussing this topic, including with Robinhood.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, AI startup OpenAI <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/openai-denounces-robinhoods-stock-tokens-as-fraudulent\">called the tokens<\/a> of its shares on the Robinhood platform fake and denied involvement in the launch.
