It can view on-screen information and is ready to answer questions.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, the product is available to subscribers of the Max plan for $200, as well as a small group of users from the waiting list.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Reuters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/media-telecom\/openai-release-web-browser-challenge-google-chrome-2025-07-09\/\">reported<\/a> on OpenAI&#8217;s plans to release its own AI-based web browser in the coming weeks. Instead of the usual site navigation, some actions will be performed directly within an interface similar to ChatGPT.<\/p>\n<p>OpenAI&#8217;s browser may feature the company&#8217;s AI agent <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/openai-unveils-ai-agent-operator\">Operator<\/a> as one of its main functions, according to the agency.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Competing with Google<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Users are increasingly shifting from traditional &#8220;Googling&#8221; to searching via chatbots. In May, Apple&#8217;s Senior Vice President of Services, Eddy Cue, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/apple-explores-ai-search-integration-for-iphone\">stated<\/a> that in April, the number of search queries in Safari decreased for the first time. He noted that the company is considering updating the browser to focus on integrating AI-based search systems.<\/p>\n<p>AI startups are launching their own browsers to interact directly with users, bypassing Chrome\u2014the most popular way to access the internet today.<\/p>\n<p>While AI browsers remain &#8220;uncharted territory,&#8221; Google is already making strides in this direction. Recently, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/google-enhances-chrome-with-ai-features\">added<\/a> several AI-based features, including <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/google-introduces-ai-mode-in-search-engine\">AI Mode<\/a>, which allows users to ask more complex questions and receive detailed answers directly in the search.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the company behind Arc, The Browser Company, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/the-browser-company-unveils-ai-focused-browser-dia\">announced<\/a> a new web browser, Dia, focusing on AI tools.<\/p>\n<p>In April, OpenAI <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/openai-enhances-chatgpt-search-for-improved-shopping-experience\">made several changes<\/a> to the ChatGPT Search engine to make online shopping more convenient and faster.<\/p>\n<p>Back in May, Opera <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/opera-unveils-ai-driven-browser-neon\">introduced<\/a> a new web browser, Neon, with a focus on AI functionality.
