The figure rose from $1bn to $6bn.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>SharpLink has already sold $721m of securities. The company can raise another $279m under the old prospectus and $5bn under the new one. That would fund further Ethereum purchases.<\/p>\n<p>Originally, the company\u2014now among the largest holders of the second-biggest cryptocurrency\u2014focused on marketing and gambling software. In June, SharpLink received $425m from ConsenSys, backed by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin. He became the company\u2019s chairman.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>SharpLink then decided to adopt the Strategy playbook, but bet on ether. Other public firms followed. Earlier, Nasdaq-listed miner Bit Digital <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/public-companies-increase-ethereum-purchases-amid-market-rally\">announced<\/a> it had raised $67.3m to buy Ethereum.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On July 18 it became known that the miner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/bit-digital-inc-continues-expansion-of-ethereum-holdings-to-approximately-120-000-eth-reinforcing-treasury-strategy-302508632.html\">purchased<\/a> 19,683 ETH with the funds raised.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Illiquid treasuries<\/h2>\n<p>Meanwhile, another Nasdaq-traded company\u2014TAO Synergies Inc.\u2014has bet on Bittensor. On July 18 the firm bought 29,899 TAO for $10m to form a crypto treasury. The average purchase price was $415, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/tao-synergies-acquires-10-million-of-bittensor-tao-to-become-largest-publicly-traded-pure-play-tao-holder-827103482.html\" title=\"\u043f\u0440\u0435\u0441\u0441-\u0440\u0435\u043b\u0438\u0437\u0435\">press release<\/a> said.<\/p>\n<p>TAO Synergies will stake all acquired assets to earn network rewards on the Bittensor platform, which rewards users for training artificial intelligence. Executive chairman Joshua Silverman said the company would continue buying TAO tokens.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe are confident that TAO will continue to grow as decentralized AI develops, which is taking an increasing share of overall spending on artificial intelligence technologies,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Bittensor\u2019s native token did not react to the news. The firm plans to create one of the first corporate treasuries based on the oldest memecoin.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globenewswire.com\/news-release\/2025\/07\/17\/3117305\/0\/en\/Bit-Origin-Secures-500-Million-Equity-and-Debt-Facilities-to-Launch-Dogecoin-Treasury.html\">press release<\/a>, Bit Origin entered into agreements with accredited investors to sell $400m of stock and issue $100m of convertible notes. The company has already closed a first $15m tranche.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWhat started as a joke has become a globally liquid asset with a payments function. Few coins can match Dogecoin for settlement speed and the scale of its community, which continues to drive its use in P2P payments and online commerce,\u201d said the firm\u2019s CEO Jinghai Jiang.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Bit Origin will develop miner services, payment solutions and other projects in the Dogecoin ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/dogecoin\">CoinGecko<\/a>, over the past 24 hours DOGE jumped by more than 16%. Dogecoin Cash Inc., formerly operating in cannabis cultivation, <a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/328071\/high-doge-cannabis-company-dogecoin-treasury-play\">took<\/a> a similar step.<\/p>\n<p>In early July, Bittensor\u2019s developers <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bittensor-halts-blockchain-after-8-million-attack\">halted<\/a> the blockchain after detecting an attack on user wallets.
