The entrepreneur did not disclose the amount of the loss.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;I confirm that CoinDCX wallets used for storing client assets were not affected and remain completely secure,&#8221; Gupta stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He emphasized that the team quickly contained the breach, which was limited to a single account. All platform losses are covered by treasury funds. The incident did not affect the regular operations of the exchange, including trading, deposits, and withdrawals.<\/p>\n<p>CoinDCX has engaged cybersecurity experts to investigate the incident and is working with the partner exchange to track the stolen funds for blocking and recovery, Gupta added.<\/p>\n<p>Experts <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/infinityhedge\/25931\">noted<\/a> that the attack on CoinDCX occurred exactly one year after the hack of the Indian <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/indian-cryptocurrency-exchange-wazirx-hacked-for-234-9-million\">exchange WazirX for ~$235 million<\/a>. In April 2025, the platform <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/wazirx-to-resume-operations-following-235-million-hack\">announced<\/a> a resumption of operations, but this had not occurred at the time of writing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Earlier reports indicated that in the first half of the year, losses from hacker attacks on crypto projects <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/cryptocurrency-market-losses-to-hackers-reach-2-1-billion-in-six-months\">reached $2.1 billion<\/a>.
