A developer test network will be available from July 23, the <a href=\"https:\/\/notes.ethereum.org\/@ethpandaops\/fusaka-devnet-3\">ethPandaOps team announced<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>During the hard fork, developers will implement 11 Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs). Key among them are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eips.ethereum.org\/EIPS\/eip-7825\">EIP-7825<\/a> \u2014 aims to enhance network resilience against attacks and improve scalability;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ethereum-developers-to-test-quadrupling-gas-limit\">increasing the gas limit to 150 million<\/a> to handle more transactions;<\/li>\n<li>abandoning <a href=\"https:\/\/eips.ethereum.org\/EIPS\/eip-7907\">EIP-7907<\/a>, which proposed doubling the contract code size limit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The main goal of Fusaka is to boost the network&#8217;s scalability and resilience, as well as to simplify the creation of decentralized applications. Ethereum developers will launch public test networks in September and October.<\/p>\n<p>The protocol support team intends to deploy the update before the Devconnect conference, which will <a href=\"https:\/\/devconnect.org\/\">take place<\/a> from November 17 to 22 in Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/321-2.webp\" alt=\"321\" class=\"wp-image-262368\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Timelines for the implementation of Fusaka and Glamsterdam upgrades. This aligns with Ethereum&#8217;s new strategy of releasing updates every six months.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Back in May, the last upgrade, Pectra, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ethereum-activates-major-pectra-upgrade\">took place<\/a>. Developers implemented improvements in account abstraction and increased the staking limit for validators. The update also enhanced L2 solutions, reducing fees.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/vitalik-buterin-endorses-increase-in-ethereum-gas-limit\">supported<\/a> increasing the gas limit per block on the Ethereum network.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The next major update, Fusaka, will be deployed on the Ethereum network in early November.
