We have yet to develop similar norms for interactions with ChatGPT,\u201d Altman said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>If a user discusses something \u201cvery personal\u201d with the chatbot, OpenAI may provide all data to law enforcement upon request.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThis is why I sometimes hesitate to use certain AI services \u2014 you never know how much personal information to trust them with and whose hands this data might end up in,\u201d he emphasized.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Altman acknowledged that the lack of protection is a significant issue. He has discussed this with many politicians, all of whom agree that a legal framework ensuring confidentiality needs to be urgently developed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Another AI Concern\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>The head of OpenAI warned that the spread of AI technologies could also enhance government surveillance. In his view, authorities will seek to control the use of artificial intelligence to prevent crimes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Altman stated he is willing to compromise on privacy for public safety. However, he fears that law enforcement agencies \u201cmight go too far.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Back in March, OpenAI, in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/openai-links-loneliness-to-increased-chatgpt-usage\">discovered<\/a> a link between loneliness and the use of ChatGPT. The organizations conducted two studies among 1,000 people.<\/p>\n<p>In July, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/openai-unveils-chatgpt-agent-capable-of-performing-tasks-independently\">released<\/a> a new universal AI agent in the chatbot.
