The perpetrator gained control over the project&#8217;s wallet, created unbacked tokens, and withdrew funds from liquidity pools.<\/p>\n<p>The hacker transferred the stolen cryptocurrency from Sonic to Ethereum and distributed it across several addresses. Developers claimed they had reached an agreement with the hacker, who had agreed to return the stolen funds.<\/p>\n<p>To prevent further losses, Credix disabled the website, but it has not resumed operations since. The project&#8217;s social media accounts have been deleted.<\/p>\n<p>The platform emerged in July 2025, offering users returns of up to 10,000%. The project purportedly connected investors with fintech companies in developing countries.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, researchers at Global Ledger <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/cybercriminals-accelerate-laundering-of-cryptoassets\">identified<\/a> the speed of fund withdrawal following hacks as a major issue in the crypto industry.
