Only Bitcoin and Ethereum were exceptions, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/gary-gensler-says-he-never-called-bitcoin-or-ethereum-securities\">he said<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Atkins&#8217; statement on cryptocurrency classification followed the launch of the Project Crypto initiative. It aims to modernize securities laws and integrate American financial markets into blockchain.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;A new day is dawning, especially for the crypto industry. We are for innovation. Now we want to embrace innovation,&#8221; the Commission&#8217;s Chairman also noted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>After the symposium, Atkins wrote that the agency &#8220;must create a regulatory framework that will protect the crypto market from regulatory arbitrariness in the future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;I look forward to working with colleagues in the administration and Congress to accomplish this task,&#8221; he added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Previously, Bernstein analysts <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bernstein-hails-secs-crypto-initiative-as-revolutionary\">described<\/a> the initiative as &#8220;the boldest and most transformative vision for digital assets.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bitwise&#8217;s Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitwise-identifies-three-key-cryptocurrency-trends-for-the-coming-years\">saw<\/a> it as a roadmap for investors over the next five years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;The most optimistic document on cryptocurrency I&#8217;ve read wasn&#8217;t written by some random expert on X.
