This view was shared by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong during Stripe&#8217;s Cheeky Pint podcast.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JeVny5KHj4g?si=gildLqRUFx1uC7DS\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>He highlighted the recently enacted <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/us-house-passes-three-cryptocurrency-bills\">GENIUS Act and CLARITY Act<\/a>. The former regulates stablecoins, while the latter establishes a comprehensive regulatory framework for the industry. According to Armstrong, their adoption by the end of the year will be significant.<\/p>\n<p>The Coinbase chief also noted the formation of a <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/us-treasury-rules-out-budget-funded-bitcoin-reserve\">strategic Bitcoin reserve<\/a>. Five years ago, such an idea seemed unthinkable, he emphasized.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cSomeone would have called you crazy if you seriously claimed that the U.S. government would officially hold Bitcoin,\u201d Armstrong said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Eric Trump, son of the U.S. President, stated that he expects Bitcoin&#8217;s price to rise to $1 million. At a blockchain conference in Wyoming on August 19, he called himself a \u201cBitcoin maximalist,\u201d reports <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2025\/08\/20\/there-s-no-question-in-the-world-bitcoin-will-be-worth-usd1m-eric-trump\">CoinDesk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Trump also mentioned that he now spends 50% of his time on crypto projects. He is a co-founder of World Liberty Financial and the miner American Bitcoin. Previously, the president&#8217;s son <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/eric-trump-advocates-buying-bitcoin-during-market-dips\">urged<\/a> buying the first cryptocurrency at lows and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/eric-trump-urges-buying-ethereum\">recommended<\/a> investing in Ethereum.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who Else Believes in Bitcoin at $1 Million?<\/h2>\n<p>In January 2024, Ark Invest founder and CEO Cathie Wood <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/cathie-wood-predicts-bitcoin-could-reach-1-5-million-by-2030\">stated<\/a> that in a bullish scenario, the first cryptocurrency could reach $1.5 million by 2030. She later <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/cathie-wood-reaffirms-bitcoin-price-forecast-above-1-million\">reaffirmed<\/a> her forecast.<\/p>\n<p>In March this year, former BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/arthur-hayes-on-how-bitcoin-could-reach-1m\">expressed<\/a> a similar opinion. According to him, the price of digital gold will rise to six figures thanks to Trump&#8217;s policies.<\/p>\n<p>Blockstream co-founder and cypherpunk Adam Back in May <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/adam-back-predicts-bitcoin-surge-to-1-million-calls-it-undervalued\">described<\/a> Bitcoin&#8217;s price as \u201cunjustifiably low.\u201d He noted that in the current four-year market cycle, it will rise to $500,000 or even $1 million.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cFor me, there is no obvious logical reason why we are only at $100,000. It&#8217;s not very high, considering all the changes compared to a couple of years ago,\u201d the expert said at the time.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Analyst&#8217;s Opinion<\/h2>\n<p>McKay Research founder and analyst James McKay urged Bitcoin supporters not to get ahead of themselves in predicting the asset&#8217;s future price.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">*BULLISH*<\/p>\n<p>Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said he believes <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bitcoin?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Bitcoin<\/a> could reach $1 million by 2030.<\/p>\n<p>For context Standard Chartered have a 500K <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BTC&#038;src=ctag&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$BTC<\/a> prediction for 2028, so $750K to $1 million by 2030 not out of left field.<\/p>\n<p>But let&#8217;s try and hold 124K first guys. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/xtBmqnmTbz\">pic.twitter.com\/xtBmqnmTbz<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 James McKay (@McKayResearch) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/McKayResearch\/status\/1958327869194821908?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 21, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cLet&#8217;s try to hold the $124,000 level first, guys,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>However, the expert stated that Armstrong&#8217;s forecast is \u201cnot something out of science fiction,\u201d considering that Standard Chartered <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/standard-chartered-predicts-bitcoin-to-reach-500000\">expects<\/a> digital gold to rise to $500,000 by 2028.<\/p>\n<p>In the past 24 hours, the first cryptocurrency has depreciated by 0.4%, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/ru\/%D0%9A%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%BF%D1%82%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B0%D0%BB%D1%8E%D1%82%D1%8B\/%D0%B1%D0%B8%D1%82%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%B8%D0%BD\">CoinGecko<\/a>.
