On August 22, following the latest adjustment, the difficulty of mining the first cryptocurrency reached 129.7 T. The figure rose by just 0.2%, yet it set a new historical high.<\/p>\n

The difficulty has been increasing over four approximately bi-weekly periods between adjustments. The inter-block interval remains consistently below 10 minutes, and the current forecast for the metric is a further rise of 1.15%.<\/p>\n

According to Glassnode<\/a>, the hash rate (7 DMA<\/span>) stands at 945 EH\/s. A record value of 966 EH\/s was recorded on August 7.<\/p>\n

Data from BitcoinMiningStock<\/a> indicates that public mining companies have increased their share of Bitcoin’s computing power to 39.7%.<\/p>\n

In terms of pools, Foundry USA has concentrated 32.8% of the hash rate, AntPool accounts for 16.2%, and ViaBTC for 11%. Together, these three entities control about 60%.<\/p>\n

According to Hashrate Index<\/a>, the hash price<\/span> increased over the past 24 hours from $55.3 to $56.5 per PH\/s per day. The mining profitability metric rose amid slight changes in network difficulty and Bitcoin’s recovery<\/a> to levels above $115,000.<\/p>\n
