In April this year, the developers again took this step, outlining three possible scenarios with date windows from July 6 to September 4. During this period, miners, clients, custodial services and Filecoin application developers will have the opportunity to initialise, train, configure, and optimise their systems. As of writing, the project\u2019s testnet hosts more than 265 different applications.<\/p>\n<p>During the 2017 ICO the project raised $257 million.
