The starting price for 0.97 ETH is 1,670 Romanian leu ($401). It must be a legal entity, use KYC procedures, comply with the country\u2019s financial legislation and anti-money-laundering measures.<\/p>\n<p>In global practice, this is not the first instance of authorities seizing cryptocurrency in criminal cases. In February 2020, Latvia&#8217;s State Revenue Service confiscated Bitcoin worth 200 euros that had been used for criminal purposes.<\/p>\n<p>In March, an Irish court classified the Dublin resident&#8217;s bitcoins as criminal proceeds.
