The use of zero-knowledge proofs (zkSNARKs) enables aggregating transactions, increasing throughput to 300 transactions per second.<\/p>\n<p>According to project representatives, their technology brings \\&#8221;programmable privacy\\&#8221; to Ethereum. The Aztec standard being developed, called PLONK, enables a two-level transaction processing system.<\/p>\n<p>Also, zkSNARK makes transactions private, concealing the sender, recipient, and the transaction amount.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Aztec introduced the Noir scripting language, through which developers can write zkSNARK transactions for the second version of the platform.<\/p>\n<p>This week, the startup&#8217;s developers will launch a testnet for confidential sending of DAI and other ERC-20 tokens.
