But cryptographers and researchers will always stay one step ahead on privacy matters,\\&#8221; said Spagni in a comment to <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/spagni-fluffypony-monero-cryptographers-one-step-ahead-regulators\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\\\">CoinDesk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In his view, regulation will be effective at specific points. Building a tool to track Monero would be a temporary solution, he says. In the future, developers will simply fix the vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, CipherTrace said that, at the request of the U.S. National Security Agency <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ciphertrace-unveils-monero-transaction-tracing-tool\">created<\/a> a tool to track transactions on the Monero network. In response, the developers introduced the Triptych algorithm, designed to further protect the anonymity of transaction participants.<\/p>\n<p>In September the IRS <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/irs-announces-bounty-for-defeating-monero-privacy\">offered<\/a> $625 000 to a contractor who would bypass Monero&#8217;s privacy technologies.
