Twenty-four percent also fear that the data will not be deleted or anonymised subsequently.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-114435\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_222-300x127.png\" alt=\"Report: 40% of users believe privacy will become more important after the pandemic\" width=\"820\" height=\"346\" srcset=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_222-300x127.png 300w, https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_222-1024x433.png 1024w, https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_222-768x324.png 768w, https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_222.png 1283w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 820px) 100vw, 820px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Almost half of respondents are not confident that they can protect their data. The main reason, in their view, is that &#8220;it&#8217;s too difficult to figure out how companies actually handle the data they collect&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Around a third of respondents, during the pandemic, stopped doing business with some organisations due to concerns about data retention.
