Alexander Sazonov, head of the Polys project, said during a corporate online conference.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Polys.GOST system is designed to conduct large-scale state voting with an unlimited number of voters. It keeps the voter registry and information about the course of the vote confidential.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Polys.GOST satisfies regulators&#8217; requirements for cryptographic means to protect information, which makes its use in government information systems possible,&#8221; noted Alexander Sazonov.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Domestic cryptographic algorithms are integrated both into the blockchain platform itself and into the business logic implemented in smart contracts, as well as in the organizer&#8217;s, voters&#8217; and observers&#8217; applications.<\/p>\n<p>The head of Polys noted that electronic voting is becoming more relevant as it saves on election administration, automates processes, and reduces the risk of manipulating the results.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2017, the Polys blockchain system was introduced.<\/p>\n<p>In early October 2020, Polys <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/polys-voting-system-migrates-from-ethereum-to-exonum\">migrated<\/a> from the Ethereum protocol to the open Exonum framework by Bitfury.
