The company will also close its office in Lyon.<\/p>\n<p>Co-founders Arthur Madrid and Sebastien Borget will step back from operational management. The new CEO of The Sandbox will be Robby Yung, head of the Web3 company Animoca Brands.<\/p>\n<p>According to the publication, the project team plans to launch a memecoin launchpad on the Base blockchain.<\/p>\n<p>The Sandbox is revising its strategy amid declining interest in metaverses following the boom of 2021-2022.<\/p>\n<p>The native token SAND is trading at $0.28.
