This was reported on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etoro.com\/en-us\/news-and-analysis\/crypto\/etoro-to-suspend-xrp-trading-in-the-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">on the company&#8217;s site<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The ability to exchange the token for any other asset will be unavailable on January 3.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cGiven the recent SEC lawsuit against Ripple Labs, eToro USA LLC (eToro) has decided to prohibit purchases of XRP on the eToro platform and prohibit any XRP conversions on customers&#8217; wallets on January 3 at 00:00 EST,\u201d said company representatives.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Users must close their XRP positions by January 24.
