The analyst also took into account substantial progress in the transition to the second version of the protocol. Computations on the blockchain could replace their current cloud counterparts,\u201d the strategist writes in a note.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Among the investment risks Grider cites the difficulties of transitioning to ETH2 and the emergence of a bear phase in the cryptocurrency market.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, January 19, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization surpassed <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ethereum-price-breaks-above-1400-and-posts-a-new-all-time-high\">the level of $1400<\/a>, setting a new all-time high.<\/p>\n<p>As of writing, Ethereum trades at around $1,313, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CoinGecko<\/a>.
