The largest asset manager in cryptocurrency Grayscale Investments could potentially launch a trust based on the DeFi project token yEarn.Finance. The investment product has been registered by a trusted representative of the firm \u2014 Delaware Trust Company (DTC).<\/p>\n

According to information on the Delaware state website, Grayscale Yearn Finance Trust (YFI) was registered on February 10, 2021.<\/p>\n

Over the last two days, the YFI token rose from about $34,000 to above $46,000 \u2014 more than 35% (Kraken exchange).<\/p>\n

At the end of January, DTC registered<\/a> six trusts for Grayscale: based on Aave, Polkadot, Cosmos, Monero, EOS and Cardano.<\/p>\n

In December 2020 the company filed applications<\/a> to register funds for Chainlink, Tezos, Basic Attention Token, Decentraland and Livepeer.<\/p>\n

As of writing, of Grayscale’s 33 registered trusts, nine are active.<\/p>\n

As reported, the value of assets under management by the investment company has surpassed $30 billion<\/a>. About 80% of them are in the Bitcoin Trust.<\/p>\n
