In the privacy-focused Brave browser’s Swag Store, alongside standard branded merchandise, <\/span>NFTs<\/span><\/a> have appeared.<\/span><\/p>\n

The initiative broadens collaboration with Origin Protocol, which is developing the decentralized e-commerce platform Dshop built on Ethereum and the IPFS distributed file system. Swag Store accepts credit cards, Ethereum and Basic Attention Token (BAT).<\/p>\n

The first batch of NFTs comprises 30 variations of tokens based on the three winners<\/a> in the recent meme contest<\/a>. In the coming three weeks, a highly limited set of non-fungible tokens from Brave and Origin designers will also appear.<\/p>\n

“NFTs are more than digital art. They can also serve as digital representations of real goods and services. For example, premium-brand manufacturers could issue limited-edition NFTs that can later be exchanged for a real asset”<\/em> \u2014 explained Matthew Liu, co-founder of Origin Protocol.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
