According to him, the Bill&#038;Melinda Gates Foundation is also working with \u201cdigital forms\u201d of money, while all transfers are fully transparent.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2018, Gates attributed real-world deaths to Bitcoin. In a Reddit session he said the digital asset is used to buy drugs.<\/p>\n<p>In the same year, the businessman called the leading cryptocurrency one of the most speculative things in the world. He added that he would short Bitcoin if there were an easy way to do so.<\/p>\n<p>In response, Gemini co-founder Tyler Winklevoss explained to the Microsoft founder how to open a short position.<\/p>\n<p>Recall, billionaire Mark Cuban called <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/mark-cuban-bitcoin-is-not-a-currency-but-a-store-of-value\">Bitcoin as a store of value<\/a>, rather than a means of payment.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the founder of the hedge fund Bridgewater Associates and crypto-skeptic Ray Dalio said that the leading cryptocurrency became interesting as <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/crypto-skeptic-ray-dalio-calls-bitcoin-an-interesting-alternative-to-gold\">an alternative to gold<\/a>.
